Optimizer® Smart Mini was specially developed for heart failure patients.
The Optimizer® Smart Mini System consists of an implantable stimulation device the size of a pacemaker and an external charging station. The device has a 20-year battery life. Clinical studies and laboratory research have shown that CCM® therapy increases the contractile strength of the heart by altering protein function and expression in the heart muscle. FIX-HF-5C Study Clinical research has shown statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in the FIX-HF-5C randomized study.
Patients receiving CCM® therapy showed an improvement of 11.7 points on the Minnesota Living With Heart Failure Questionnaire (MLWHFQ) score compared to the control group.
81% of CCM® patients showed an improvement of more than one level in the NYHA heart failure classification, while this rate remained at 42% in the control group.
CCM® patients walked an average of 33.7 meters more in the 6-minute walk test compared to the control group.
